Australian Black Worm (Lumbriculus variegatus)
We have been trying for 12 months to get this in & finally we have it.

Killifish breeders have long known the benefits of feeding these worms. They are not Tubifex or Bloodworm dressed up as a different thing but a totally unique food.
Now these are available with all the goodness locked in through the freeze drying process. Worms are harvested & dried at the farm for freshness.

Killie breeders have been raving about this food. Feed as it comes from the container for adults or crush it down into a powder for fry.
The high protein & fat content makes this a fantastic food to encourage growth.

Dried Bloodworm

Our last supplier of dried bloodworm was good but when we saw this new bloodworm we had to get it in. Much redder than our previous stock. Smells really nice & has a slight moistness. Not bone dry dust as in some supplies.

60g - £5·15

We now use this product daily in our breeding operation. We feed everything from female Guppies, Gobies, Swords, Goodeid, Anabantoid right up to Snakeheads on this food & it gets eaten rapidly.

We noticed a marked increase in growth in most fish we feed & even got some species breeding which were previously dormant.

Breeders should really try this out.

Arctic Copepods

These Arctic Copepods are naturally rich in carotenoids. Can be fed directly or mixed with your own blend of feed.
High protein content.

Protein 65%, Fat 9%, Ash 12%, Chitin 3%, Salt (Na Cl) 9·5%, Astaxanthin 400 ppm

We used to sell the fresh chilled Arctic Copepods which were eagerly taken by Marine fish & Rift Lake Cichlids as well as just about any other type of fish we tried it out on.

Nice smell, undoubtedly highly attractive to fish being fed on it.
Ideal for fry. We like this product. If you feed de-capsulated brine shrimp you should be using this.

Customers have tried it & come back for more. We are selling more & more of this.
This is easily mixed with our Red Astax crumb (grades 2 or 3) to make up paste balls as our Spirulina balls (see Spirulina page) to add a high concentration of carotinoid to the mix.

This is a fantastic new feed you should be looking at !!!

Krill (pacifica) - approx 1 cm.

Rich source of carotenoids including astaxanthin. Krill has a high level of attractants to trigger feeding response. You don't need to feed this whole - being moist it's easy to crush between finger & thumb so smaller fish can take it. Squeeze it into small balls & it sinks so catfish can get to it.
